Historical Re-enactment

Today many people enjoy stepping back in time to explore how life might have been. Some participate wholeheatedly and seek accuracy in their attire, while others prefer to simply "look the part" and have a good time. Whichever is preferred, both offer a way to experience a differerent time and place.

With the popularity of period fairs and festivals these days, one seeks to answer the question, "What to wear?"  Here is where you can find some of those answers.

Knitting Chain Mail

Whether you're looking for period clothing, or just curious about how life was lived in whatever historical time and place that interests you, we can explore these questions together.  I hope to include coverage of a pow-wow, (page has been added 3-13-2009)a celt camp, more about the vikings and any other culture that opportunity allows.

Clothing through the ages can include more than what might first come to mind.  In the near future, look for a page demonstrating the actual knitting of chail mail armor.
